I found us a boat near the ocean's side.
We couldn't tell if we were right,
but we're damn sure of ourselves.
So we entered the water with nothing but our hands.

We caught waves as the tide moved.
They pulled us in with open arms and
granted a wish to know almost everything.
We capture life through lenses.

I've been having bad dreams lately.
Seeing the floors move daily.
I've been having a hard time saying what I meant,
but maybe it's just me.

We would see the coast climb up from the ocean's hide.
We didn't speak, but we seemed alive.
When we came ashore we were pretty sure
that this would be where we'd be.

But then the showers came and washed it all away.
All that we had to offer.
So we ran for the woods and found shelter.
We wrapped ourselves in colour.
